Why support ASEP SoCal?

ASEP SoCal’s goal for 2022-23 school year was to provide an increased number of free and reduced cost classes to our communities. We are so proud of the fact that we provided no-cost programs at almost 60 schools! This allowed over 4,600 students participated in our programs with no-cost to their family! In addition to the boom of our tuition free after-school classes, we continued to provide our virtual Free Class Fridays, giving students chances to participate in our virtual classes for free. As we look ahead to the 2023-2024 school year it is our dedication to grow our offerings of low and no-cost classes to impact the lives of students both virtually and in-person. We hope you will come on the journey with us to make a difference in the lives of students.

Support Breakdown

What does your support go towards?

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all revenue from paid classes goes directly back into running more of these classes: staffing, technical equipment (cameras, computers, etc.), Professional Subscriptions for a variety of programs that we use to run classes (like Zoom).

Donations go directly into providing free classes for all students (with a virtual format, this includes students from across the country). Our goal is to provide twice as many free programs this year, even as we may start to transition back into schools again. Your generosity will help us provide high-quality free enrichment programs for thousands of students that may not have other opportunities like this.
